Carlos de Barros is a partner at DNA Capital and serves General Director and CEO of DASA since January 2019. Between 2015 and 2018 he served as Financial Vice President and CFO.

Previously, Carlos was a partner at Gávea Investimentos, responsible for its investments in the health market and other sectors. He served on the Boards of Directors of companies such as Grupo Hermes Pardini Group, Odebrecht Oil & Gas, Camisaria Colombo, IdealInvest, RBS Comunicações and Rumo Logística and has also worked for JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley and KKR.

Carlos holds a degree, with honors, in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Stanford University.
